Whenever I get a chance to help out with a show in any way at my local community theatre I jump on board. It's very rare I get asked if I would like to paint a peacock on the stage floor, so when I was asked if I'd like to help out I was very excited. Painting such a large-scale piece provided me with a couple of challenges. Not only was it spanning across a good chunk of the stage, but it also continued down onto the stairs. This required me to use perspective so that when the audience would look at the bird it would look normal to them.
